-Transition to Climbing Outside

Rock climbing in Northern Utah's Wasatch Range around Salt Lake City and Park City is incredibly diverse. Within just a few miles, one can climb on granite, quartzite, or limestone. Crags have a wide diversity of routes, from wonderful top rope learning areas to sport-climbs and adventurous multi-pitch traditional outings. It's no surprise that climbers flock to the area year after year to enjoy the exploits. We offer guided climbing and climbing instruction to individuals and groups of all ability levels. Through a special use permit of the USFS, we have access throughout Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and the Lone Peak, Twin Peaks and Mt. Olympus Wilderness Areas.

Climbing Camps

Anybody can enjoy going to camp! Campers/students will expand their climbing horizons with a progression of techniques suited to their technical abilities, fitness and desires. Climbing can teach us all something about life and our camps focus on using climbing as a mode for engagement and empowerment while developing hard skills to become safer and more agile climbers.
We offer three types of courses which can be taken as a progression or individually with appropriate experience. With time and milage suited climbers can expect to move forward from learning the basics in our Rope School course to then following and leading sport climbs in our Lead Climber camp and then perfecting multi-pitch traditional climbing skills in our Advanced Techniques class.
