Outdoor adventure tours with Utah mountain guides. Rock climbing opportunities in Northern Utah's Wasatch Range around Salt Lake City and Park City are incredibly diverse. One can climb granite, quartzite, or limestone within just a few miles of Salt Lake City. Crags have a wide diversity of rock climbing routes, from excellent top rope learning areas to sport climbs and adventurous multi-pitch ascents. It's no surprise that climbers flock to the area year after year to enjoy the geological wonders. We offer guided and/or instructional climbing to individuals and groups of all ability levels, including experienced climbers. Through a special use permit of the USFS, we can access areas throughout Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and areas within the Lone Peak, Twin Peaks, and Mt. Olympus Wilderness Areas.

Spend either a half or full day out climbing in the remarkable Wasatch Range. We custom-tailor every trip around the specific skills and desires of each individual group; so whether you are new to the sport, looking to advance your skills, or simply seeking adventure, we have something for you! For newer climbers we commonly teach foundational skills in the controlled setting of a top-rope, whereas for climbers looking to move on to more advanced skills, the sky is the limit with lead, sport and traditional climbing all possible options! We are happy to guide or teach in all facets of the sport.

Wilderness Camp and Climb
​
Backpack into the Wasatch's Lone Peak Cirque or the High Uinta Mountains for a three-day, multi-pitch climbing trip on some of the best rock in the country! This is Utah adventure rock climbing at its finest, with countless classic trad routes stacking the skyline. The Cirque is an alpine wonderland perched high above, but impressively close to, civilization in the Salt Lake valley. We will endure a fairly substantial hike in (5000' vertical over 6 miles) and set up and climb from a base-camp in a beautiful meadow amongst the boulders, just below the sheer 500' rock walls. Once here, you will never want to leave.

Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing
​
Climb several pitches off the ground on an all-day Wasatch adventure. This is rock climbing in its purest form and we have many excellent long moderate routes to choose from in the 5.5-5.10 range. This day can be focused as purely a guided rock climbing trip here in Utah or as an instructional clinic to safely learn to lead and execute multi-pitch climbs independently.
